	Born on 4th July 1962 in Aschaffenburg near Frankfurt/Main in Germany. Lives in Bruchköbel (near Frankfurt/Main), together with partner Petra Zuppa I have 2 siblings: 1 year older sister and 2 years younger brother. A very sporty family that enjoys hiking, biking, running and especially table tennis My hobbies are table tennis, biking, running, hiking, kayaking, rollerblading, cross country skiing. I have worked as a media designer for 30 years, currently in the tyre industry. I got into croquet when, at the age of 14, I received a croquet set from my parents as a birthday present and played a lot in my own garden. I then played tournaments privately in the garden after a long break. After contacting the German Croquet Federation in 2007, a dedicated department was established at Sportfreunde Höhr-Grenzhausen. I moved to Bruchköbel in 2016 and founded a croquet club at TTC Kahl.
